The simpler a software is the more useful it gets. Take ACA HTML to Image Converter for example. It converts HTML files into images of various sizes and formats.

Setting it up on your PC should take up to a minute. The package weighs in at 5.33 Mb and the installation process won't bug you in any way, not even with demo related things.

The interface consists of one small window. Except for a few functions like save and load, the rest of the options in the top menus are sort of dead weight. You can easily access them using the buttons on the toolbar.

The interface's simplicity allows for a fast conversion process. The largest part of the window consists of a list where you can add URLs or HTML files. This is done by simply clicking on the Add URL or File button from the toolbar. You can add multiple URLs at once. When clicking the Add URL button, a window shows up and you can type or paste your URLs in a dialog box. If you're in a hurry, after typing the URLs, you can click on a check box so that the program will immediately start converting after you add the URLs. If you're not in a hurry, select one or more items from the list and click the Start button. When it's done you can open the output directory or the image itself right away by clicking on the designated button from the toolbar.

The software's option panel lets you select the resulting image's resolution, format and other settings. The most commonly used formats are all there, so no need to worry in this regard.

Pros

The program does one thing and it does it well. You can convert one or more web pages or HTML files at once in no time. There are no complex menus to navigate. All you need to do is target a site or file and hit the Start button.

Cons

The only downside here is that the trial version lasts just two weeks. Any novice can convert a web page or HTML file into an image with ACA HTML to Image Converter without needing to know a thing about code writing.
